Development Services

The Development Services Department is responsible for ensuring that District development standards are followed. It is involved in the initial planning of the projects, plan checking, permitting and inspection services for new construction and remodeling/tenant improvements involving commercial, industrial, and residential properties. The Development Services Department also works closely with other agencies and utility companies to streamline the development process and deliver efficient and friendly service while eliminating or minimizing conflicts between agencies and utilities.
